They also have a presence nationally and internationally in chamber settings, opera orchestras, jazz ensembles, and as orchestral musicians and soloists. The brass faculty adjudicate for international and national competitions and for All State and State Solo and Ensemble for their respective instruments.

Each student will be given weekly private lessons with their major professors as well as in weekly studio classes. They will also be able to enjoy watching their professors performing in professional settings such as The Florida Orchestra, Opera Tampa, the Grammy nominated Jazz Surge, and national touring Broadway productions.
