Lab Coordinator: Bennett Moscato
Bennett, a junior at USF, is set to graduate in spring 2024 with a major in psychology
and a minor in aging sciences. Upon completing the undergraduate degree, Bennett intends
to work in both a laboratory and clinical setting for a year before embarking on a
PhD journey in Clinical Psychology.
The area of focus that Bennett is particularly interested in is the well-being of
older members of the LGBT+ community, and how best to offer them counseling and other
community health resources. Ultimately, Bennett aims to combine research with counseling
work in this area of interest.

Kinjal Shah, a highly motivated professional in the field of behavioral health from India, is currently pursuing a master's degree in Public Health at the University of South Florida, with a specialization in Behavioral Health. Throughout her career, she has consistently shown a strong commitment to improving mental well-being through various therapeutic approaches, including traditional psychotherapies, creative art therapies, and dance/movement therapy.
She has gained extensive experience in conducting psychometric assessments for individuals of all ages and genders. Motivated by her belief that every individual deserves access to high-quality mental health care, Kinjal aspires to dedicate her life to raising awareness about behavioral health and making behavioral health services more accessible to everyone. She is passionate about utilizing her knowledge and expertise to contribute to research efforts in the field and hopes to play a significant role in shaping policies that aim to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and promote behavioral well-being. With her determination and dedication, Kinjal is poised to make a lasting impact on the field of behavioral health.
