It was a night of smiles and well-earned congratulations at the USF Faculty Honors & Awards Reception as three members of the Judy Genshaft Honors College were recognized for their outstanding contributions to student success.
Held Nov. 16 in the Interdisciplinary Sciences building on the Tampa campus, the USF Faculty Honors & Awards Reception celebrates those who drive USF forward through their work in community-engaged scholarship, mentoring and advising, research and innovation, and undergraduate teaching.
Honors College faculty member Dr. Holly Donahue Singh was recognized with an Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award; while academic advisors Dr. Krysta Banke and Dani Soluna were each recognized with Outstanding Undergraduate Advising Awards.
It was a proud night for all involved. “You can’t deny I was overwhelmed with emotion,” said Soluna. “I even forgot to shake President Law’s hand!”
The Honors College is proud to be the home to an immensely talented and dedicated group of distinguished scholars and higher education specialists. Congratulations to our 2022 awardees.
