A new $10,000 grant awarded to the University of South Florida Judy Genshaft Honors College from the Florida High Tech Corridor will allow student researchers to develop a comprehensive online research portal to connect students at USF with internal research opportunities.
Working in collaboration with the Honors IT Incubator development team, the Honors College student researchers will aim to solve the higher education-wide problem of helping students find engaging research opportunities in a timely fashion. Designed by current students to meet student needs, this project will directly support undergraduate research at USF and benefit participating departments by providing actionable data points that highlight where students are engaging in research.
Honors College students interested in participating in the project should contact Judy Genshaft Honors College Assistant Dean for Student Success Dr. Reginald Lucien for more information.
