Judy Genshaft Honors College Helps Grow Worldwide Climate Teach-In
Since 2022, Honors students and educators have collaborated to share information on climate change, climate action, and climate justice as part of the Annual Worldwide Teach-In on Climate and Justice. Plans are now underway to expand the teach-in to a university-wide, weeklong event.

'Straight A' Student Earns Bachelors Degree Three Years After Becoming U.S. Citizen
At the age of two, Honors student Barbara Figueredo moved to the U.S. from Venezuela after her family left the country due to the political turmoil that continues today. Coming to America and learning English at a young age made her want to pursue an Education degree.

2023 Honors Symposium Celebrates USF Sarasota-Manatee Honors Community
At this year's Sarasota-Manatee Honors Symposium, the University of South Florida's Honors community gathered to recognize the outstanding achievements of first year and graduating students. The event featured presentations of freshmen theses and included a graduation celebration ceremony.

2023 Grand Challenge Competition Recap: Access to Meaningful Work
The 2023 Grand Challenge has come to a momentous close as student finalists pitched their proposals to conclude the competition. The winning student team, ARThritis, was selected by the panel of judges to implement their project in the Tampa community in spring 2024.
