The 'most-quoted person in Florida politics,' Professor Emerita Dr. Susan MacManus, a retired political science professor at the University of South Florida (USF) visited the Judy Genshaft Honors College to speak with CNN and meet with Honors students. After an interview with reporters, MacManus met with a small group of students to discuss political science, education, and career opportunities.
AN INSPIRING PRESENCE
MacManus holds a degree in government from Florida State University, a master's from the University of Michigan, and a Ph.D. from Florida State University. She is the author of the book 'Florida's Minority Trailblazers,' which delves into the contributions of minorities in Florida politics. Dr. MacManus also leads the Sunshine State Survey, providing insights into Floridians' values and their stances on ballot issues.
