Claire Kooy and Alvin Varghese Win 2024 Honors Grand Challenge Competition
First-year student Claire Kooy and third-year student Alvin Varghese have been named 2024 Judy Genshaft Honors College Salem Scholars for their innovative research addressing challenges faced by people with disabilities. Both students will present their work at a national undergraduate research conference in spring 2025.

After a concussion ended her dream of professional ballet, Alexandra de Roos enrolled at USF as a double major in biomedical sciences and psychology with the goal of becoming a psychiatrist. She was also recently crowned Miss Tampa and plans to use her pulpit to promote brain trauma awareness.
