Information for students submitting transcripts to AAMC
Final grades for the Spring 2024 semester post to transcripts on May 10, but degree
information can take up to 8 weeks after graduation, depending on the certification
process for each college. If you are graduating this semester and require your degree
information on your transcript, be sure to select the “Hold for Degree” option when placing your order. This means that we will hold your order until the
college has finished the certification process and we are sure your degree will be
posted on the transcript; this eliminates any guess work on your end, and you will
receive an update notification once the order has been completed.
Once AAMC has received your transcript and verified your application, they will not
accept any updated transcripts. If you are expecting any grade changes, be sure to
wait until that update has been made before ordering your transcript.
If you are submitting your transcripts by mail, be sure to upload your AAMC Transcript
Request form as an “attachment” by following the instructions as you place your order.
This will aid in the processing of your transcript by AAMC. Please be aware that it
may take 14 days for your paper hard-copy transcript to arrive to AAMC, and an additional
15 days before it is reflected on your AAMC record.
If you have any questions regarding your AAMC application, the timeline for submitting
transcripts, or the processing of your transcript by AAMC, please contact AAMC directly.
If you have any questions regarding your USF Transcript or any orders you have placed,
please contact USFTranscript@usf.edu.
USF Health and Former New College Students
Official transcripts for students who previously attended New College of USF must be requested directly from New College of Florida.
Official and Unofficial transcripts for students who participated in the Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, Transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy, or the Master of Physician Assistant Studies programs through USF Health must be requested through USF Health's Transcript Portal.
In keeping with enacted Florida Bill 171, the University of South Florida will waive the transcript fee for a person who is active duty or honorably discharged veteran of the United States Armed Forces and his or her spouse and dependents.
If you believe you qualify under these categories, please complete the Transcript Request form, and submit it via email to USFTranscript@usf.edu using the subject line "US Armed Forces Transcript Waiver."
Learn more about how to access your Official and Unofficial Transcripts.
First time students at USF (including transfer students with credits from another institution) do not have an official record that can be displayed on transcripts, until one full term is completed and the final grades have been posted. Ordering a transcript before final grades are posted will result in a blank transcript at the student's expense. Degrees post to official transcripts approximately six weeks after Commencement; term grades are posted to transcripts approximately one week after the official end of term.
