The mission of the University of South Florida's (USF) Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) is to protect the rights, safety, and welfare of human subjects who participate in the research programs at USF and its affiliated institutions. The HRPP promotes the highest quality research and is accredited by the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs, Inc. The USF HRPP pertains to all human subjects research conducted using any property or facility of USF or a USF Affiliate and under the direction of any employee, student, or agent of the USF or a USF Affiliate in connection with his/her USF assignment or IRB Authorization Agreement or an Individual Investigator Agreement.
