How do I schedule an online tutoring appointment?
All appointments are booked through Accudemia. You can review Book An Appointment page for instructions.
How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
In Accudemia, you can modify your appointment, including canceling or rescheduling up to 2 hours in advance. To cancel an appointment, please log in to Accudemia.
- On the Accudemia home page, click "View All" under the Upcoming Appointments section.
- Hover over the appointment you wish to cancel.
- A Cancel icon will appear on the far right side of the screen—click this icon.
- When prompted to confirm, select "Yes" to cancel the appointment.
- The appointment will be removed from your home screen.
You cannot make changes to your schedule in Accudemia within 2 hours of your appointment. If you need to cancel, please call (813) 974-8293 during the ASC General Office Hours or email us at asc-online@usf.edu.
Your confirmation email also provides a link to cancel your appointment. To reschedule your appointment, select a different session in the scheduler and create a new appointment.
Note: If you are unable to attend a session and fail to cancel or reschedule, you will be marked as a No-Show. Accumulating three No-Shows may result in losing access to appointment services.

What technology do I need for an appointment and how can I get help?
A personal computer or tablet with internet access and sound is required, while a writing pad (e.g., iPad) is highly recommended for better online tutoring experience.
- If you do not have access to a laptop/tablet, please go to the USF Library circulation desk to request technology. Supplies are limited.
- Make sure you have the most current version of Microsoft Teams downloaded on your device.
- If you have any issues with Teams, you can get support from USF IT.

What courses are tutored online?
- Online tutoring covers most courses that are already offered in person at the ASC for drop-in tutoring.

How many appointments can I schedule per week?
- To ensure that we can assist as many students as possible, students are limited to two online tutoring appointments per week.
- If you need further assistance after using your two online appointments, you can visit the ASC for drop-in tutoring. The ASC is located on the second floor of the Library (LIB 206). Please note that you may experience wait times during peak periods.
What should I bring to my online tutoring appointment?
- Please ensure you have all relevant materials, such as textbooks, class notes, or course materials, ready for discussion with your tutor. It's helpful to have digital copies on your device for screen sharing during the session. Alternatively, you can attach these files when scheduling your appointment through Accudemia.
- 2-3 questions about the material or concept to discuss with the tutor.
