Dental Admission Test (DAT)

What is on the exam (~ 4hrs 30 min):
  • Natural Sciences- 90 minutes/100 questions
    • Biology I & II
    • General Chemistry I & II
    • Organic Chemistry I & II
  • Perceptual Ability- 60 minutes/ 90 questions
    • Nonverbal two and three dimensional perception
  • Reading Comprehension- 60 minutes/50 questions (3 passages with 16-17 questions per passage)
  • Quantitative Reasoning- 45 minutes/ 40 questions
    • Algebra
    • Trigonometry
    • Geometry
    • Conversions
    • Probability & Statistics

Note: Advanced biology and physics are not tested.

Preparing for the Exam:

Exhaust all your free resources available before paying for materials. You can find a free online sample test from Prometric and register to pay for practice tests.
