Dental Admission Test (DAT)
The admissions test for dental school applicants. For the most up-to-date information visit the ADA website.
What is on the exam (~ 4hrs 30 min):
- Natural Sciences- 90 minutes/100 questions
- Biology I & II
- General Chemistry I & II
- Organic Chemistry I & II
- Perceptual Ability- 60 minutes/ 90 questions
- Nonverbal two and three dimensional perception
- Reading Comprehension- 60 minutes/50 questions (3 passages with 16-17 questions per passage)
- Quantitative Reasoning- 45 minutes/ 40 questions
- Algebra
- Trigonometry
- Geometry
- Conversions
- Probability & Statistics
Note: Advanced biology and physics are not tested.
