Fall 2024 Move In

Parking and Directions

Early and Late Arrival

  • Unloading Zones: Unloading Zones are used for residents to park their car and unload their belongings. You may park in an Unloading Zone for a maximum of 30 minutes.
  • Long Term Parking: Once your 30 minutes is complete, move your car to the nearest long-term parking lot. If you are parked in an unloading zone longer than 30 minutes you risk being ticketed or towed.
  • Unloading Zone Parking Pass: During early and late arrival unloading zones do not require a parking pass.
  • Disabled and Reserved Spaces: At any time, a car parked in disabled spaces without a valid state disabled permit, in reserved, numbered, and labeled spaces, in unloading zones longer than 30 minutes, in unauthorized lots, or in “no parking” zones is subject to warning or citation.
  • Be a Good Neighbor: If you arrive during early arrival, please move your car to a long-term parking lot as soon as possible. On August 22, over 3,000 students and their families will be coming to move in and we would like them to have as much parking as possible.

Grand Opening Day

Oversized Vehicles and Vehicles with Trailers

Oversize vehicles and vehicles with trailers will be directed to park in lots 18, 43, and 47. Oversize rental trucks, vehicles with trailers, and motorhomes after unloading at designated locations are to be directed to the lots identified above. Please note: we do not recommend packing bulky furniture or items that prevent a speedy move-in/move-out process.

After move-in

  • Parking Permits: Parking permits are required to park on the USF Tampa campus 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
  • Resident Parking Lots: Only residents with "R" permits are allowed to park in "R" lots.
  • Parking Rules and Regulations: For more information on parking rules, on campus transportation, and parking maps visit the USF Parking & Transportation Services website.
