Student Self-Service

Important Update: Introducing Student Self-Service

In late September, USF is upgrading to the new Self-Service Banner 9 (SSB9) platform, which will be named Student Self-Service, and will replace Student OASIS.

We are advising you of this change so that you know to reference Student Self-Service, rather than Student OASIS, when you converse with students this fall.  In preparation for the launch, we have already begun to replace references to Student OASIS with Student Self-Service in university course catalogs, systems, websites, etc.

The new Student Self-Service online platform will offer a streamlined and efficient way for students to:

  • Update personal info
  • Provide access to view records to a parent or supporter
  • View account info and pay bills
  • Manage financial aid
  • View grades and transcripts
  • Register for classes
  • And more!

Upon implementation on September 28, all students will be directed to log in to the new Student Self-Service platform, instead of Student OASIS. The platform will include hyperlinks to current Student OASIS functionalities for registration  until they are migrated to Student Self-Service in February 2025. At that point, Student OASIS will be fully deactivated.

Training to Be Offered

All advisors and staff who assist students with registration will be provided helpful training for Student Self-Service, including how to use global proxy access. This feature allows staff to view the student’s interface to better assist students with navigation and questions. Look for communications about upcoming training sessions soon.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of the Registrar.

Thank you for your support as we make this important transition to enhance our students’ experience!
