USF Research Park
Named 2022 AURP Research Park of the Year
Located on the Tampa campus of the University of South Florida, the USF Research Park, covers more than 112 acres at the heart of the USF community. The USF Research Park, which was named 2022 Research Park of the Year by the Association of University Research Parks, brings together world‐class researchers, inventors and entrepreneurs eager to collaborate with a highly-trained, high-tech workforce.
3814 Spectrum Boulevard
The three-story, 120,000-square-foot mixed-use building features advanced laboratory facilities for the Global Virus Network, as well as office and meeting spaces for new and established companies. It has been recognized with an architectural design award by the Florida chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
Interdisciplinary Research Building
This building houses four incubator companies and engineering, chemistry and medical research labs.
University Technology Center
The University Technology Center at 3702 Spectrum Boulevard is home to the following entities:
Business Partnerships Building
The building serves the USF Genomics Program, Shriners Hospital for Children, US Department of Veterans Affairs, Iovance Biotherapeutics, and these entities:
Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa USF
The Embassy Suites in the USF Research Park are a Busch Gardens Preferred Partner and offer a free shuttle to the amusement park, five minutes away. The hotels offers an outdoor pool, fitness center, free made-to-order breakfast and complimentary Evening Reception.
University Diagnostic Institute
University Diagnostic Institute is a freestanding imaging center located at 3301 USF Alumni Drive. For the past 32 years, UDI has surpassed the challenge of providing superior technology, service and care to the Tampa Bay Community. UDI is widely recognized throughout the country for its reputation of combining excellence with superior personalized patient care.
Florida Department of Health Bureau of Public Health Labs
The mission of the Bureau of Public Health Laboratories is to contribute to a healthier Florida by providing diagnostic screening, monitoring, reference, research and emergency public health laboratory services to county health departments and other official agencies, physicians, hospitals and private laboratories.
USF FLeX Building
The FLeX building on the lawn of USF Research Park is built with a passive design that relies on the sun to power its electronics and the weather to cool its interior.
USF Athletic Fields
The USF Athletic Fields include four recreational fields and two softball fields with safety netting, scoreboards, bleachers, bathrooms, a storage facility, and parking. There is also a shaded 1.2 mile nature trail that loops around the athletic fields. All fields and the fitness trail have outdoor lighting.
