Using Multiple GenAI Platforms to Create a Group Project

As the teacher of a high enrollment finance course, Dr. Martina Schmidt’s objective was to incorporate a student group project reflecting authentic financial goals and challenges. She employed ChatGPT and Copilot to assist in designing the group project on the topic of personal debt and found both to be effective and complimentary. “Each tool presented info that the other one did not mention, and I see a benefit in merging the two outputs.” Further, she expanded her prompting to request that each tool incorporate how students can use of GenAI as resource within the group project.
