2025 Honorees
Jaden Bramelus
Accounting

Jaden Bramelus was a sophomore studying computational mathematics at USF. Then he made the switch to accounting.
Changing colleges halfway through his undergraduate program was not easy. But the senior business student came out of it stronger than ever.
Overcoming challenges is nothing new to Bramelus. He came from a family of Haitian immigrants who faced financial hardships, homelessness and food insecurity. Through these challenges, he learned the true value of gratitude, independence, and dedication.
In fact, mentors describe him as someone who takes on challenges many shy away from.
From hardship, he developed a deep commitment to supporting others in need. “Seeing how hard my parents worked to maintain a roof over our heads is a driving force in why I serve in my community today,” he said.
He volunteers with organizations such as Feeding Tampa Bay and Metropolitan Ministries and Dare to Care. He also serves as the vice president of community service for Delta Sigma Pi.
Bramelus graduates in May with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He secured not one — but two — full-time job offers before his senior year.
After a successful first internship at Grant Thornton, the firm asked him to return for his second in January. In 2024, he was a tax intern at Baker Tilly where he prepared tax forms for federal, corporate, and foreign businesses.
Balancing work, leadership, and academics, Bramelus is graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. His journey exemplifies perseverance, impact, and a commitment to growth, with an emphasis on uplifting others along the way.
