Amber Woolverton
Global Business

Amber Woolverton has embraced every opportunity at USF. As a first-generation student, she excels in professional development, leadership, and community service.
In her sophomore year, she joined Phi Chi Theta. There she built a strong foundation in professional development through networking and workshops. After three years, she became a mentor and guided younger members in their career paths. She also joined the Corporate Mentor Program at the Muma College of Business where she learned from professionals at Raymond James about leadership and workplace success.
Woolverton’s leadership extends beyond business. She was elected vice president, then president, of the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee Club at USF. She managed a 30-member team and fostered an inclusive environment while helping players grow.
Her experiences led to five marketing internships. She started at Greek House, refining her presentation skills, then interned at GFT! in Spain, where she learned to adapt messaging across cultures. At BrandMinded, she gained expertise in social media and SEO.
Her recent internship at Bloomin’ Brands was so successful, supervisors extended her term three times. She supported Bonefish Grill’s marketing efforts, including digital campaigns and brand partnerships.
In April, she starts as a digital marketing internship for a global consulting firm.
She also volunteered her marketing skills for nonprofits like Heard Em Say and Powerstories Theatre.
In May, she graduates with a bachelor’s degree in global business. As she prepares to walk across the stage, she’s grateful for the experiences that shaped her journey. Above all, she looks forward to new challenges in international marketing.
