Jacob Park
Finance, Accounting

Jacob Park is the type of person you want on your team.
Whether it’s playing beach volleyball or crowdfunding for a women’s abuse shelter. Be it curating a mural about nature’s beauty or untangling the intricacies of trust taxation — Park is your go-to.
The senior finance and accounting major graduates in May with two bachelor’s degrees. He also has a full-time job lined up. He will be an associate financial analyst in the trust tax department at Raymond James.
In the summer of 2024, he interned in specialty asset and tax accounting at Raymond James. There he worked on approximately $500 million in assets under management. He valued closely held businesses. He also analyzed financial statements, and gained expertise in income taxation for trusts.
A key project was collaborating with the CFO and senior leadership on the Corporate Transparency Act. This deepened his understanding of regulatory compliance and risk assessment.
Beyond his professional pursuits, he has a heart for outreach and advocacy. He lent his creative skills as an illustrator for My Tio’s Pulse. The children’s book promotes love and unity. All proceeds supported victims and their families of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy.
At USF, he co-created the Botanical Harmony mural. The project was an opportunity as a student in the Judy Genshaft Honors College to merge creativity with sustainability.
Park is eager to continue his philanthropic efforts at Raymond James through its volunteer program, RJ Cares. He credits USF for shaping his journey and proudly carries the Bull spirit into his future.
