Tabitha Hung

Tabitha Hung is happiest when she’s creating space for others to connect and grow.

As an orientation leader, she led workshops and team-building exercises for incoming freshmen.

She distributed clean water filters and educational materials as a student leader with Cru in partnership with Filter of Hope in Cuba and Colombia.

In the American Marketing Association at USF, she led over 100 members as a co-executive vice president. She brought in Tampa Bay professionals so that peers could connect to industry leaders.

She is also known for her public speaking. She memorized and delivered speaker introductions without notes. Advisors commend her ability to connect with an audience while maintaining a warm and approachable demeanor.

And while Hung is always uplifting peers, she is also active in the Tampa running community. As an officer in the USF Running Club, she leads weekly training sessions and offers tips on training, nutrition, and gear.

"Running is more than a sport for me; it has been a source of connection, discipline, and passion,” she said. “The sense of belonging has fueled my commitment to bringing others into the world of running.”

Hung is pursuing dual degrees and is on track to graduate in 2026. She’s majoring in supply chain management and business analytics and information systems with a minor in Spanish.

In 2024, she was an outbound transportation logistics intern at the WebstaurantStore. She says seeing others gain self-confidence and skills has been the most rewarding aspect of her leadership journey.
